the environmentally friendly fuel crop

• Rapeseed does not have an adverse impact on the environment; it’s part of the normal agricultural rotation, helping to improve the yield of cereal crops.
• Rapeseed is a local crop, as opposed to the palm or soya oils used for mass-produced bio-fuels, which are sourced and transported from across the globe.
• The entire Rapeseed crop can be used for either fuel or food.
• Mass-produced bio-diesel ingredients give negligible reductions in CO2, whereas plant oils, such as the
• Straight Vegetable Oil (SVO) used in Phoenix Fuels' Agri-fuels, generates considerable CO2 savings over other bio-fuels.
• Phoenix Fuels maintain a fully traceable production process with records to show which field the crop is grown in and all inputs used.
• Phoenix growers are all members of accredited growing and conservation schemes.
