100% British and 100% pure, Green Dragon is unique. It starts life in the oilseed rape fields on farms up and down the country. Oilseed rape is integral to the crop rotation of these farms and is used to keep the soil fertile. Unlike palm, soy and others, rapeseed does not require big areas of land to be cleared. It’s better for everyone. Growing oilseed rape as a break crop has other advantages over its competitors too. It puts different nutrients back into the soil. The machinery normally used to harvest rapeseed is fueled by our oil, so no more CO2 is added to emissions. And here’s the best bit. Much of the CO2 that’s produced when burning Green Dragon Farm Grown Fuel was absorbed by the plant in the previous year, so using it reduces carbon emissions by up to 60%!
